The Role

As a Bilingual Product Specialist / Corporate Paralegal (English/French) at Athennian, you will leverage your past experience as a corporate paralegal or law clerk in a law firm or in-house setting to become a leader in the transformation of legal services.

Your day as an Athennian employee is extremely varied and requires the ability to switch between tasks quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Support: On a daily basis, you will help Athennian users learn how to leverage our platform to be more efficient and successful through product support, training and help documentation. You understand the user workflows and offer a strategic, customer-service centred, and sympathetic support position.

Product: You will be a key part of testing new and upcoming features, especially French-language features, to ensure they will align with our current users' needs. You can understand the “why” of our users’ workflows, and will use this understanding to help our product team build solutions that improve users' day-to-day work.

Feedback: You will be a key member of the support, sales, and product team, responsible for collecting feedback from Athennian users and understanding their needs in the platform. Your legal background will inform decision making at the sales and product levels. We need a collaborative voice willing to contribute ideas and collaborate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to user support requests with strategic solutions based in technical and industry knowledge
  • Assist Sales Team in discussions with Athennian users
  • Write help articles that actually help our customers without technical or wordy jargon
  • Test new features released to meet Quality Assurance testing
  • Participate in and organize user feedback workshops to improve user experience in the application
  • Recognize support trends through analytic tools to provide feedback to our product team for improvements
